Adding Forms with Theme App Extensions

Rivio B2B Registration Forms uses Theme App Extensions to make it easy to add your registration forms to your Shopify store without editing theme code.

Using the Shopify Theme Editor, you can add a form directly to a page, section, or other supported location in your theme.

Before You Begin

Before adding a form to your store, make sure:

• Rivio B2B Registration Forms is installed.
• You have created a form in the app.
• The form is published and ready to display.
• You have access to the Shopify Theme Editor.

Open the Shopify Theme Editor

To add your form:

1. Open Shopify Admin.
2. Go to Online Store → Themes.
3. Find the theme you want to edit.
4. Click Customize to open the Shopify Theme Editor.

Add the Form Using the App Block

Once the Theme Editor is open:

1. Navigate to the page where you want to display the form.
2. Click Add section or Add block, depending on where you want the form to appear.
3. Select Apps.
4. Find the Rivio B2B Registration Forms app block.
5. Select the form block to add it to your page.

The available options may vary depending on your Shopify theme and the location where you are adding the block.

Select Your Form

After adding the app block, select the form you want to display.

Choose your published form from the available form options.

Make sure you select the correct form, especially if you have created multiple registration forms.

Configure the Form Block

Review the available block settings and configure the form according to your requirements.

Depending on the app and block configuration, you may be able to select the form and adjust where it appears on the page.

Use the Theme Editor preview to confirm that the form is displayed correctly.

Save Your Changes

After adding and configuring the form:

1. Review the form in the Theme Editor preview.
2. Make sure it appears in the correct location.
3. Click Save.

The form will now be available on your storefront.

Check the Form on Your Store

Open your storefront and navigate to the page where you added the form.

Check that:

• The form is visible.
• All fields are displayed correctly.
• The form layout looks appropriate.
• Customers can enter their information.
• The Submit button is visible.

You can also submit a test application to confirm that the form is working correctly.

If the App Block Is Not Available

If you cannot find the Rivio B2B Registration Forms block in the Theme Editor:

1. Make sure the app is installed correctly.
2. Confirm that you are editing the correct theme.
3. Refresh the Shopify Theme Editor.
4. Check whether the app block is supported in the selected theme location.
5. Make sure the app's Theme App Extension is available and enabled.

If the app block still does not appear, contact support for assistance.

Moving or Removing the Form

You can change the form's position at any time from the Shopify Theme Editor.

To move the form:

1. Open the Theme Editor.
2. Select the page containing the form.
3. Find the Rivio B2B Registration Forms app block.
4. Move it to the desired location.
5. Click Save.

To remove the form, select the app block and remove it from the page, then save your changes.

Removing the app block from the theme does not delete the form from Rivio B2B Registration Forms.
