Customer Confirmation Emails

Rivio B2B Registration Forms allows you to automatically send a confirmation email to applicants immediately after they submit a registration form. This helps applicants know that their application was successfully received and is being reviewed.

What Are Customer Confirmation Emails?

Customer confirmation emails are automatic replies sent to the applicant after they submit a form.

For example, after a customer submits a Wholesale Application, they can automatically receive a message such as:

Thanks for applying! We'll review your details and get back to you soon.

This provides a better experience and confirms that the application has been received.

How to Enable Automatic Replies

To enable customer confirmation emails:

  1. Open Rivio B2B Registration Forms in your Shopify Admin.
  2. Open the registration form you want to configure.
  3. Go to the Auto-responder section.
  4. Enable Send an automatic reply to applicants.
  5. Enter a Subject for the email.
  6. Select the required Message format.
  7. Enter your confirmation Message.
  8. Save your changes.

Once enabled, applicants will automatically receive the confirmation email after submitting the form.

Customize the Email Subject

You can create a custom subject for your confirmation email.

For example:

We received your application

If you leave the subject blank, the app will use the default subject.

Choose a clear subject so applicants can easily understand why they received the email.

Customize the Message

You can write your own confirmation message based on your business requirements.

For example:

Thanks for applying! We'll review your details and get back to you soon.

You can also separate paragraphs by leaving a blank line between them.

Choose the Message Format

The Message format setting allows you to select how the confirmation message is formatted.

For example, you can use Plain text for a simple email message.

Choose the format that best matches how you want your confirmation emails to appear.

Use Available Variables

The app provides variables that you can add to your message to personalize the email.

  • {{contact_name}} – Applicant's name
  • {{form_name}} – Name of the submitted form
  • {{shop_name}} – Your store name
  • {{company}} – Company information
  • {{contact}} – Contact information
  • {{resale_certificate}} – Resale certificate information
  • {{tax_exempt}} – Tax-exempt information
  • {{annual_volume}} – Annual purchase volume
  • {{how_heard}} – How the applicant heard about your store
  • {{notes}} – Additional notes submitted by the applicant

Using variables allows you to create more personalized confirmation messages without manually entering applicant information.

Example

For a wholesale registration form, you could configure the email as follows:

Subject:

We received your wholesale application

Message:

Hi {{contact_name}},

Thank you for submitting your application to {{shop_name}}.

We have received your wholesale application for {{company}} and will review your details shortly.

We will contact you once the review is complete.

The variables will be replaced with the applicant's actual information when the email is sent.

Why Use Customer Confirmation Emails?

Automatic confirmation emails can help you:

  • Confirm that the applicant's form was received.
  • Provide applicants with immediate feedback.
  • Reduce uncertainty after form submission.
  • Create a more professional registration experience.
  • Personalize messages using available variables.
  • Save time by avoiding manual confirmation emails.

Summary

Customer Confirmation Emails make it easy to automatically acknowledge applicants after they submit a registration form. You can enable automatic replies, customize the subject and message, choose the message format, and use available variables to personalize each email.
