Previewing Your Registration Form

Rivio B2B Registration Forms includes a Live Preview section that lets you see how your registration form will look to customers on your Shopify storefront.

As you build or edit your form, the preview helps you check the form fields, labels, required fields, and overall layout before publishing it.

Step 1: Open Your Registration Form

1. Open Rivio B2B Registration Forms in your Shopify Admin.
2. Go to Forms.
3. Select the registration form you want to preview.
4. The form editor will open with the Live Preview section on the right side.

The preview updates as you configure your form, giving you a quick view of how it will appear to customers.

Step 2: Review the Form Fields

The Live Preview displays the fields you've added to your registration form.

For example, a wholesale application form may include:

• Business name
• Tax ID / VAT number
• Business phone
• Website
• Business address
• Primary contact
• Email address
• Job title
• Resale certificate or business license
• Tax-exempt purchasing question
• Estimated annual purchase volume
• How did you hear about us?
• Additional comments

Review each field to make sure the information you want to collect is included.

Step 3: Check Required Fields

Required fields are displayed with an asterisk (*) in the preview.

For example:

• Business details*
• Primary contact*
• Resale certificate or business license*

Check that all important fields are marked as required and that optional fields are not unnecessarily required.

This helps customers understand which information they must provide before submitting the form.

Step 4: Check Field Labels and Descriptions

The Live Preview also shows the field labels and any supporting text configured for your form.

For example, you may see helpful descriptions such as:

Legal business name, tax ID, and address for your wholesale account.

Or:

Required to verify your business for tax-exempt wholesale pricing.

Make sure your labels and descriptions are clear and easy for customers to understand.

Step 5: Review the Form Layout

Use the Live Preview to check how the different sections and fields appear together.

Make sure:

• Fields are displayed in the correct order.
• Related information is grouped together.
• Labels are easy to understand.
• Required fields are clearly identified.
• The form is not unnecessarily long.
• Customers can easily understand what information they need to provide.

If something doesn't look right, return to the Fields section and edit or reorder the fields.

Step 6: Make Changes and Preview Again

You can continue making changes to your form while using the Live Preview as a reference.

For example, you can:

1. Add a new field.
2. Edit an existing field.
3. Change whether a field is required.
4. Reorder fields by dragging them.
5. Remove fields you don't need.
6. Review the updated preview.

This makes it easier to build your form without having to repeatedly visit your storefront.

Example: Wholesale Registration Form

For a wholesale application, the Live Preview can help you confirm that the customer sees a clear flow such as:

 Business Details → Primary Contact → Business Documents → Tax Information → Purchase Information → Additional Comments → Submit 

This gives you a quick way to verify that your registration form collects the information needed for your wholesale approval process.

Before Publishing Your Form

Before publishing your registration form, use the Live Preview to check:

• All required fields are included.
• Field labels are clear.
• Fields are in the correct order.
• Descriptions provide useful guidance.
• File upload fields are included where required.
• The form contains only the information you need.
• The Submit button is visible at the end of the form.

Tip: The Live Preview is a quick representation of how your form will appear on your storefront. Some fields or actions may look slightly different depending on your Shopify theme and storefront setup.
