If the Approve button is not working when reviewing a submitted application, the issue may be related to the application status, form configuration, browser session, or a temporary issue with the app.
Follow the steps below to identify and resolve common approval issues.
Check the Application Status
First, check the current status of the application.
- Open Rivio B2B Registration Forms from your Shopify Admin.
- Go to Submissions.
- Find the application you want to approve.
- Open the application.
- Check its current status.
Make sure the application is in Pending status. An application that has already been approved or rejected may not allow the Approve action again.
Refresh the Application
If the Approve button is visible but does not respond:
- Refresh the application page.
- Open the application again.
- Click Approve.
- Wait for the status to update.
Avoid clicking the button multiple times if the page is still processing the request.
Check Required Application Information
Review the submitted application and make sure all required information is available.
Check important details such as:
- Applicant name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Business information
- Address
- Required documents or files
Missing or invalid information may affect the approval process depending on your form configuration.
Check Auto-approve Rules
If Auto-approve rules are enabled for the form, review the configured conditions.
An application may already be processed automatically based on the rules.
Go to:
Rivio B2B Registration Forms → Forms → Your Form
Review the approval settings and make sure they are configured as expected.
Check Shopify Customer or Company Creation
If approval is configured to automatically create a Shopify Customer or Company, make sure the required information is available.
For example:
- A valid customer email address is required for customer creation.
- A company name may be required for company creation.
- The Shopify Customer or Company may already exist.
If an error occurs during the approval process, check whether it is related to customer or company creation.
Check Your Browser
If the Approve button does not respond at all, try:
- Refreshing the page.
- Opening the app in another browser.
- Clearing your browser cache.
- Disabling browser extensions temporarily.
- Logging out and back into Shopify.
This can help determine whether the issue is related to your browser or Shopify session.
Check Your Internet Connection
A slow or unstable internet connection can prevent an approval action from completing.
Make sure your connection is stable and try approving the application again.
Try Approving Another Application
To determine whether the issue affects one application or all applications:
- Open another Pending application.
- Click Approve.
- Check whether its status changes to Approved.
If another application can be approved successfully, the issue may be specific to the original application.
Check the Application After Approval
After clicking Approve, refresh the submissions list and check the application status.
The status should change from:
Pending → Approved
If the status does not change, do not repeatedly click the Approve button. Instead, continue troubleshooting or contact support.
Contact Support
If the Approve button still does not work after checking the above steps, contact the Rivio B2B Registration Forms support team.
Provide:
- Your Shopify store URL
- The affected application
- The form name
- The current application status
- A description of what happens when you click Approve
- Any error message displayed
- A screenshot or screen recording, if available
This information can help the support team investigate the issue more quickly.
Summary
If the Approval Button is not working, first check that the application is still Pending and review the submitted information. Then refresh the page, test another application, and check your browser and internet connection.
If the issue continues, provide the application details and any error message to the support team for further investigation.
