The Form Settings section in Rivio B2B Registration Forms lets you control how your registration form looks, behaves, and handles customer submissions. You can customize the form's appearance, submission experience, notifications, approval workflow, and spam protection—all from one place.

To open the settings, go to:

Rivio B2B Registration Forms → Forms → Select your form → Settings

The settings are organized into different sections that help you manage your form and customer experience.

1. Appearance Settings

The Appearance section lets you customize how your registration form looks on your Shopify storefront.

Form Title

You can add an optional title that appears at the top of your form.

You can customize:

  • Title text – Add a title such as "Wholesale Application".
  • Title color – Choose the color of the form title.
  • Title font size – Set the size of the title.
  • Title alignment – Choose how the title is aligned.
  • Title padding – Add spacing around the title.

Form Style

You can control the overall positioning and typography of your form.

Available options include:

  • Form alignment – Choose where the form appears within its section.
  • Font family – Select the font used by the form.
  • Field heading font size – Control the size of field labels.
  • Field heading text color – Choose the color of field labels.
  • Border color – Set the color of the form border.
  • Border thickness – Adjust the border thickness.
  • Corner radius – Control how rounded the form corners are.

Custom CSS

Advanced users can add custom CSS to further customize the appearance of the form.

The custom CSS is applied inside the form container on your storefront.

Tip: If you are not familiar with CSS, you can leave this field blank and use the available appearance settings.

2. Button Settings

The Button settings allow you to customize the form's submit button.

You can configure:

  • Button color – Set the background color of the submit button.
  • Button text – Choose the text color displayed on the button.
  • Corner radius – Adjust how rounded the button corners are.

These settings help you match the submit button with your store's branding.

3. Input Field Settings

You can customize the appearance of the fields customers use to enter their information.

Available settings include:

  • Background color – Set the background color of input fields.
  • Text color – Choose the color of text entered by customers.
  • Border color – Set the input field border color.
  • Active/focus color – Choose the color used when a customer selects a field.
  • Placeholder color – Set the color of placeholder text.
  • Input field font size – Control the size of text entered into fields.
  • Corner radius – Adjust the roundness of input fields.
  • Border thickness – Control the thickness of the field borders.

4. Form Display Settings

You can control how customers access the registration form on your storefront.

Depending on your setup, the form can be displayed in different ways, including:

  • Embedded form – Display the form directly on a page.
  • Popup button – Customers click a button to open the form.
  • Exit intent – Open the form when a visitor is about to leave the page.
  • Timed popup – Automatically open the form after a set amount of time.

Choose the display method that best fits your store and customer journey.

5. Success Message

The Success Message settings control what happens after a customer successfully submits the form.

Show a Message

Display a confirmation message to let the customer know their application was submitted successfully.

Redirect to a URL

Instead of displaying a message, you can send the customer to another page after submission.

If you choose Redirect to a URL, enter the destination in the Redirect URL field.

For example, you could redirect customers to a thank-you page or a wholesale information page.

6. Email Notifications

The Email Notifications section allows you to specify which email addresses should receive notifications when a customer submits the form.

Enter one or more email addresses in the Admin notification recipients field.

If you have multiple recipients, separate the email addresses with commas.

This helps ensure the appropriate team members are notified about new applications.

7. Submission Reference

Rivio B2B Registration Forms can assign a human-friendly reference number to each submission.

You can customize the Reference format to control how these numbers are displayed.

For example:

#0001

You can also use available tokens such as:

  • {seq} – Sequential number
  • {seq:0000} – Zero-padded sequential number
  • {YYYY} – Year
  • {MM} – Month
  • {DD} – Day

The reference number can be used when discussing or tracking a specific application.

8. Auto-Responder

The Auto-responder feature allows you to automatically send a confirmation email to applicants after they submit the form.

This gives customers immediate confirmation that their application has been received.

You can configure the automatic reply and use available form variables to include relevant information in the email.

Available variables can include information such as:

  • Contact name
  • Form name
  • Shop name
  • Company
  • Contact details
  • Resale certificate
  • Tax-exempt status
  • Annual purchase volume
  • How the applicant heard about you
  • Additional notes

You can also choose whether to include the applicant's submitted responses in the email.

9. Approval Settings

The On approve section controls what happens when you approve an application.

Tags on Approval

You can add Shopify customer tags automatically when an application is approved.

For example:

wholesale

This can help you identify approved wholesale customers in Shopify.

Create a B2B Company on Approval

You can enable Create a B2B Company on approve to automatically create a Shopify B2B Company when an application is approved.

The applicant can be added as the primary contact using the company-related fields configured in the form.

B2B Ordering Permission

You can also control what permissions the approved contact receives.

Depending on your selected option, you can allow the contact to:

  • Place orders only.
  • Manage the company location.
  • Remain without ordering permissions until you grant them manually.

10. Auto-Approve Rules

The Auto-approve rules section allows you to automatically approve applications when they match specific conditions.

Auto-Approve Email Domains

Enter email domains that should be automatically approved.

For example:

partner.org

You can enter multiple domains separated by commas.

Auto-Approve Countries

You can specify country codes for applications that should be automatically approved.

For example:

US, GB, CA

When an application matches your configured rules, it can be approved automatically instead of remaining in the submissions inbox for manual review.

Tip: Leave these fields empty if you want to review every application manually.

11. Anti-Spam Protection

The Anti-spam section helps protect your registration form from unwanted or automated submissions.

You can enable reCAPTCHA for the form to add an additional verification step for visitors.

If reCAPTCHA has not been configured for your store, you may need to set it up in the app's general settings first.

12. Save Your Changes

After making changes to your form settings, make sure you click Save to apply them.

It is a good idea to check the Live Preview while making appearance changes so you can see how the form will look before customers use it.
